U.S. public relations blitz comes to Beirut
Christopher Ross, the US State Department's Special Coordinator for Public Diplomacy, will host an open discussion on “the US Image in the Arab World” at 11am on Jan. 10, as part of a recent public relations blitz in the region.
The Institute for Professional Journalists at the Lebanese American University will moderate the panel, to be held at the Press Club in the Azarieh Building downtown.
Ross will be accompanied by former State Department Assistant Secretary for Middle East Affairs Richard Murphy, currently a senior fellow in Middle East studies at the Council on Foreign Relations, an American think tank.
